A warm welcome to the new-look BSOS website!

 

In terms of the content we have tried to include a sense of the club’s history, current information relating to shows, judges, our code of ethics and breed specific information.  We would also like to develop a breed health section where again, articles of interest will be published and any other information you may find helpful.  Lots of us have used well-tried and tested remedies that are worth sharing, so once, again your contributions are welcome.

 

We have also incorporated our Scottish Showcase and hope to present photographs of all dogs born and bred in Scotland who have gone on to achieve prominence in or out of the ring.  Whilst we want to include all CC and RCC winners we also want to hear of the other ambassadors for the breed who have gained other types of award e.g. PAT dogs.  So send in the photographs and information and we will ensure your dog is included.

 

And finally we have devoted another section to the work of our Welfare Team who are always on call to respond to the needs of the less fortunate of our breed.  We will advertise dogs who are looking for their “forever” home and also share information about fundraising drives and activities.  It is important to recognise that rescue is everyone’s concern – the few on the committee deliver a service on behalf of the whole Bullmastiff community in Scotland.  So please step up to the mark and support our efforts.

 

 

The first principle to establish is the ownership of this site – primarily it belongs to you, the membership and we would sincerely hope that you feel free to contribute breed information, articles, photographs and stories of interest.
